Senior Software Engineer

Cloudmanic Labs, LLC is currently hiring a senor software engineer. This job will be for continued support on our php/mysql/javascript development of web applications. We build web-based software as a service applications. We are looking for a candidate that has experience building web software not web sites. We are looking for a team member that can help make design decisions based on real web application development experience.

Senior Web UI Designer

Cloudmanic Labs is seeking a talented and technically skilled designer for one of its current projects. This is a full-time permanent position, working from Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

Amaze internal and external customers alike with sleek, engaging, and usable designs. You will be responsible for both designing our frontend website as well as our mobile platforms (iPhone / Android). While your focus will be on design, at times you will be asked to assist in our front end programing (psd2html).

Requirements:

You: a skilled web designer who is used to working effectively and meeting deadlines. You can design sites through professional design cycles: wireframes, prototypes, visual design to production ready. Though your passion is design, any technical skills with php/javascript is an added bonus.

• Develop designs that are useful, creative, engaging, and above all else: usable.
• Be able to think about the user experience: develop first-run walkthroughs, provide input on how the design translates to a better user experience, etc.
• Continually seek out opportunities to innovate and improve our designs and usability.
• Must be a skilled designer with an attractive portfolio.

Experience:

Must be familiar with: proper HTML/CSS implementation.

Nice to have:  Javascript, jQuery, jQuery UI, PHP, and CodeIgniter experience.

• Visual design (from comps to final art)
• UI design (user flows, wireframes and prototyping)
• Able to code sites on your own using: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
